Squash

We have been letting Isaac try new foods lately, with some rather comical results at times. Here is our attempt with home-cooked squash.

...and just to add some more humor to the post, here are some more fun pictures of our little guy.
Does this mean he's rooting for Edward?

Isaac is now our third son to wear this old shirt of Paul's, from when he was a baby. I wish I could post them all up together, but alas our computer is in storage.

Okay . . . I can't figure out what you did to his mouth to make him look like a vampire. I can't tell if it's real or photoshopped!
We have some vampire shots of Micah from Christmas vacation, but they're shots from AFTER the feeding. :-)(Licorice dribbling from his chin)

He is adorable!

We got a bunch of plastic vampire teeth from Logan's preschool Halloween party. So it's no photoshop job. They were a little big for him, but he didn't seem to mind.

I haven't checked in on you for awhile and I almost cried when I read your post about Paul leaving. He will definitely be in our prayers. Your boys are so darling! I'm glad you are doing well - again, one more time for the record, I think you are super woman.

I love the classic baby faces of trying new foods! Kyra did that the other day when she decided it was okay to eat peas again after being on hiatus (sp?).

The squash blip was so funny! When we gave home-cooked squash to Spencer he did the same thing - it was the texture that he couldn't stand. The pureed stuff out of the jar he likes fine, I just don't have the time to get the home-cooked stuff that smooth. So funny! Thanks for the laugh!

I like how he makes all the faces, but he still swallows it! He takes it like a man! Way to go!
